School Project

Ribbons features a main illustration and a vignette, creating a layered composition of fates, characters, narratives, objects, trains, environments, and the themes of life and death. The primary illustration depicts a complex network of trains, destinations, and intertwined journeys, while the vignette simplifies this by showing two alternate paths between the same endpoints. The work explores the interplay of simplicity, mystery, and poetry against the backdrop of a darker, eclectic narrative.

The process began with initial sketches, followed by scanning pale pink satin ribbon. These scans were edited and finalized in Photoshop and Illustrator, combining physical texture with digital precision.
