X. Curiosities (2024)
School Project
Curiosities is a title sequence for a Danish television series focused on rare art objects housed in Danish castles. The work, including a looping teaser, merges analog stop motion with digital crossfades to create a mysterious and captivating atmosphere, where oddities and rarities are immortalized. The enchanted objects are connected through implicit storytelling as they rotate and fade in the darkness, ultimately vanishing without a trace—symbolizing how history fades away when left unspoken.
The project began with preliminary sketches and was completed in After Effects, animating stop-motion elements captured in a black-screen studio.
